CYPRESS, TX October 13th, 2025 – Moffitt Services and the Moffitt Legacy Foundation are proud to announce the monumental success of our annual Charity Golf Tournament, which raised a record $80,000 to support Texas EquuSearch.
The sold-out event, held at the BlackHorse Golf Club, brought together 36 teams and a total of 152 players for a day of golf, camaraderie, and spirited competition. The significant funds raised will directly fuel Texas EquuSearch’s mission to provide critical, no-cost search and recovery services for families of missing loved ones.
Record-Breaking Fun for a Critical Cause
The tournament was more than just a day on the links; it was an engaging community effort filled with exciting activities to maximize donations. Participants enjoyed lively bidding during the silent and live auctions, took chances on various raffles, and a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Raffle, a high-stakes finale that added a unique thrill to the day (Special thanks to Ashcraft Aviation for sponsoring this event!).
The annual golf tournament is a cornerstone of Moffitt Services’ longstanding partnership with Texas EquuSearch. Moffitt Services has supported the organization for over two decades by supplying bulk fuel, site services equipment, and financial backing, embodying Roy Moffitt’s values on “simply and unquestionably the right thing to do.”
