To our valued Customers,
As we all know, the events of the past days and weeks are unprecedented. Our organization continues to monitor and navigate the rapidly changing situation as the world responds to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All of us at Moffitt Services are committed to the safety and well-being of our employees, families, customers, and vendors. We want to share some of the measures we are taking in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
Delivery and Field Service:
- We are asking our customers to limit one-on-one contact with our delivery drivers and service personnel at jobsites;
- We are also asking for leniency in getting delivery tickets signed on-site, thereby limiting the chance of exposure for you and our drivers, until the risk of contracting this virus has decreased;
- We have added sanitizing products to our delivery and service vehicles and have implemented a cleaning procedure for high-traffic areas such as door handles, steering wheel, shifter, seats, etc.;
- We have asked our employees to stay home if ill, disclose all known or suspected Coronavirus exposures, and limit social situations wherever possible;
Contingency Planning and Other Measures:
- We are recommending phone versus in-person meetings with customers and vendors, and limiting all non-essential travel;
- We have expanded our work-from-home policy, not only to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus but also to accommodate our employees that now have limited child-care availability;
- We have honed our existing contingency plan in order to allow us to operate our back-office virtually, in the event that we are required to close one or more of our offices;
Like most organizations, we are facing new and unique challenges but our commitment to humanity and our community is making difficult decisions a bit easier to make. Rest assured, we are committed to meeting your fuel and lubricant needs, even in the most difficult times. We have a robust contingency plan and have risen to the challenge following numerous natural disasters across the country, including hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods. And while we don’t anticipate fuel or other product shortages, rest assured that we are closely monitoring our supply chain in order to stay ahead of any possible disruption.
We appreciate your trust in Moffitt Services and ask for your patience as we continue to make temporary adjustments to our daily operations. We will continue to keep you abreast of any material changes.
Please take care of yourself, your family, and your organization and if there is anything we can do to assist you in that regard, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Best Regards,
The Moffitt Services Team
